Noah Amato had "huge charisma", said his parents

The funeral of a nine-year-old boy who was killed in a car crash in Devon has taken place.

Noah Amato, from Hallsands, was coming home from a music festival when the car he was in left the road near Aveton Gifford and hit a wall.

Tom (TJ) Capewell, 17, from Aveton Gifford, and Jamie Baker, 18, from Kingsbridge, also died in the crash at about 2300 BST on 4 July.

Noah's funeral was held at East Portlemouth Church at 1430 BST.

'Cheeky grin'

Noah's mother, Clare, said that he had received a merit for his guitar playing at school and had gone with TJ and Mr Baker to Giffstock in Aveton Gifford as a reward.

Noah was one of five children and "lived his brief life to the full", his parents said in a statement.

"He was a little boy with huge charisma, and a cheeky grin that could win over the most disgruntled parent or teacher.

"Noah loved being outdoors and launched himself wholeheartedly into every activity - roaming the beach, fishing, playing rugby or helping out on the local farm - invariably gathering many new friends along the way.

"He was very popular and much loved for his joy of life."

Mr Baker's funeral was held on Wednesday and TJ's took place on Thursday.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
