Line dancing drag queens record attempt

Torbay has failed in an attempt to set a new world record for the number of "dancing queens" in a line.

The record attempt was part of Torbay's first Gay Pride festival.

Hundreds of people attended the event organised by Torbay Pride to celebrate diversity in the area. The festival continues until Sunday.

A total of 64 people in drag was required to get into the record books, but only 40 took part in the attempt on Thursday evening.
