Men arrested over armed robbery

Two men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Devon.

Officers were called to the Ferry Store on Admirals Hard in Plymouth at about 1740 BST on Monday after a shop assistant was threatened with a knife.

The armed robber then made off with an unspecified amount of cash. Police said the staff member was left very shaken.

A 25-year-old Plymouth man has been charged with robbery and a 39-year-old man, also from Plymouth, has been charged with handling stolen goods.
