Third teenager held over attack

A third 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an attack in north Devon which left a man seriously ill in hospital.

The 38-year-old victim was assaulted at the Kenwith Valley Reservoir in Bideford on Monday night.

He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where his condition is described as serious.

Three 15-year-old boys are now being questioned on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, police said.

Police said the reservoir was a popular spot with dog-walkers and appealed for witnesses.
