Emergency crews in Plymouth have been called to two fires at the same building in just over eight hours.

Two fire appliances were called to the two-storey property in Merrivale Road in the North Prospect area of the city just before 0400 BST on Sunday.

After that fire was extinguished, two crews and an aerial ladder platform were called back to the building at about 1210 BST, the fire service said.

No-one was injured in either incident. The causes are being investigated.
