The camera was set up inside a nest box to capture the births
|
Two barn owls have been successfully born while being filmed on a webcam on a nesting farm in Cornwall. The barn owl Trust used a camera, which was set-up inside a nest box, to record the secret lives of barn owls. The two owlets were born in succession, which does not happen in barn owls, usually egg-laying occurs at 2-3 day intervals. This is the second year the Trust has set-up the nestcam to watch the wild birds nesting.
