Tribute to woman killed in crash

An investigation into the cause of the crash is being carried out

A woman killed when the car she was travelling in was in collision with a tractor in Devon has been named by police as Melissa Barnham.

Her parents said they were "devastated" at the "tragic loss" of their "beautiful daughter".

A child in the Suzuki with Ms Barnham was also killed. Three other people in the car were flown to hospital.

The crash happened on the A38 at Ashburton at 0845 BST and the road was closed for much of the day.

Police have not released any other details about the crash victims at this stage.

An investigation into the cause of the collision is being carried out.
