Tractor driver charged over death

A 61-year-old tractor driver has been charged over the death of a teenage motorcyclist following a collision on a Devon country lane.

Geoffrey Hardy Williams, from Yelverton, is charged with causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving.

Ian Keenan, 17, from Sparkwell, died several days after the incident, near Hemerdon, on 18 September 2008.

Mr Williams will appear before Plymouth magistrates on 9 April.
