Nine jobs to go at Flybe airline

Regional airline Flybe is making redundancies in Devon.

A total of nine jobs will go at one of the airline's technical departments in Exeter.

An airline spokesman said the cuts are not down to the economic climate but a result of restructuring and that Flybe predicts making a profit this year.

The airline also confirmed it has begun statutory consultation with those affected by the redundancy announcement.
