Man charged over cannabis factory

A 36-year-old man has been charged with cultivating cannabis following a police raid on a house in south Devon.

Officers seized a total of 1,000 plants with an estimated street value of £250,000 in the raid in the Blackawton area on Monday.

Plants were discovered in various stages of cultivation, and a quantity of hydroponic equipment was seized.

The man was due before magistrates in Plymouth charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis.
