Cannabis factory found at house

Police have uncovered a large cannabis farm in a raid on a house in rural south Devon.

Officers acting on a tip-off seized a total of 1,000 plants with an estimated street value of £250,000 in the raid in the Blackawton area.

The plants were discovered in various stages of cultivation, the largest reaching 3ft (O.9m) tall.

Police also took away hydroponics growing equipment and a man was taken into custody.
