Dogs killed in outbuilding fire

Two dogs have died in a fire at a outbuilding in Devon.

Two crews from Cullompton and Tiverton were called to the property at Westcott, Cullompton at about 0300 GMT.

Firefighters spent several hours tackling the fire at the building, which was well alight and contained 80 bales of hay.

Nobody was injured, but two of the seven dogs housed in the outbuilding died in the fire. The cause is still being investigated.
