Man held over music store crash

A man has been arrested after a stolen minibus crashed into a music shop in a Devon town.

The incident happened in Paignton at about 2130 GMT on Monday, police said.

Officers near Aardvark Music on Paignton Road reported hearing a disturbance, and on arrival found the stationary Mercedes vehicle.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drinking and driving, theft of the minibus and assaulting a police officer. He remains in custody.
