Tour bosses seek fans of Devon

Organisers are looking for people who are passionate about Devon

A tourist organisation is holding auditions for new "ambassadors" to promote Devon and all things Devonian.

The Love My Devon campaign being run by Visit Devon aims to promote the county to the rest of the UK.

The organisers said they are looking for local people who are "passionate" about Devon to promote it creatively, through song, poetry or other means.

Final auditions are being held at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, with the campaign starting in 2009.

Auditions have already taken place in Barnstaple and Exeter.
