Friends remember cycle adventurer

Ian Hibell: Pic Nicholas Henderson
The 74-year-old had biked to many remote destinations

A service has taken place in Devon in memory of a dedicated long-distance cyclist from Brixham who died in a road accident in Greece in August.

Ian Hibell was remembered by friends and family at a service at St Mary's Church in his home town on Saturday.

Mr Hibell, who was 74, spent much of his time in the saddle. He rode to some of the world's most remote spots, including the Antarctic.

He died after a crash on the Athens to Salonika road in August.
