Boys arrested after car hits home

Two youths have been arrested after a car crashed into a house in Cullompton, Devon, causing extensive damage.

Emergency services were called to the property in Padbrook Meadow in the early hours of Wednesday.

The elderly occupants had to leave their home until it was inspected and made safe. They were not injured.

Police said a 15-year-old boy from Cullompton and a 16-year-old boy from Plymouth were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
