Mugging victim has broken pelvis

An elderly woman is in hospital with a broken pelvis after being mugged on a city street.

The 70-year-old was attacked at about 1000 BST in Warwick Orchard Close in the Honicknowle area of Plymouth, Devon on Wednesday.

The attacker threw the woman to the ground before stealing her handbag and house keys.

He is described as white, in his early 20s, 6ft 1in with short brown hair. Police have appealed for witnesses.
