A man has appeared in court charged with stealing a video camera containing a woman's footage of her son winning an Olympic gold medal.
Sara Holyer's home in Plymouth was broken into on 27 or 28 August.
She had just returned from Beijing where she had filmed her son, rower Zac Purchase, winning gold in the men's double sculls.
Andrew Dearth, 42, from Plymouth, denied burglary and was remanded in custody at Plymouth Magistrates Court.
Mr Dearth, of Warburton Gardens, also denied two other thefts.
