Man charged over office car crash

Damage at Teignbridge District Council
No-one was hurt in the incident

A man has been charged with dangerous driving after an incident in June when a car crashed into the reception area of local council offices in Devon.

The car caused what was described "as a considerable amount of damage" to Teignbridge Council Offices at Forde House in Newton Abbot on 13 June.

The driver, a 37-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.

He has been bailed to appear at Torbay Magistrates Court in Torquay on 9 September.

No-one was hurt in the incident.
