Manhunt as unit patients abscond

A manhunt is under way for two psychiatric patients who escaped from a secure mental hospital on Tuesday.

Terry Powell, 35, from Cornwall, and Jason Lord, 23, from Devon, were detained under the Mental Health Act at Langdon Hospital in Dawlish, Devon.

They are described as a "potential danger" and should not be approached.

Jason Lord is 5ft 7in, has blue eyes and a fair complexion. Terry Powell is 5ft 9in, with a Mohican haircut, facial piercing and a tattoo on his cheek.

Members of the public have been asked to call 999 immediately if they see either of the men.
