Woman injures arm during mugging

The incident happened in the centre of Totnes

A woman in her 60s was hurt when youths pushed her into railings and mugged her as she walked through a south Devon town.

The incident happened on Fore Street, Totnes's main street, at 1920 BST on Thursday.

Police said one teenager pushed the woman while another grabbed her bag from her shoulder, injuring her arm.

The two youths, both wearing hoodies, then ran off with the bag, which contained a purse and some cash.
