Crash death cyclist, 23, is named

A cyclist who died from his injuries after a collision with a car in Devon has been named by police.

David Rendell, 23, from Exmouth, was struck by an MG car on the A379 Exminster to Dawlish road on 6 July.

He was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with serious injuries and died later.

The driver of the car was treated for shock. Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
