Armed gang steal convertible car

An armed gang held up a two men in a Devon resort and stole their convertible car.

The men were threatened with a pistol in Potters Hill, Torquay, on Friday evening before their car was driven off by the gang of three men.

Armed police were sent in to try and find the car which was discovered nearby early on Saturday morning.

The vehicle is now being examined and Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
