Hit-and-run probe after man dies

Part of the road was closed while investigations took place

A man has been found dead after what police believe was a hit-and-run accident in Devon.

The victim, aged 41, from Plymouth, was discovered early on Sunday at The Parkway in St Budeaux.

A spokeswoman for Devon and Cornwall Police said that his injuries were consistent with being hit by a motor vehicle.

Part of the road from the St Budeaux roundabout to the Saltash Bridge were closed.
