Parachutist hurt in tandem jump
A man has been airlifted to hospital after crash-landing on rocks at Hanover Cove, near St Agnes, during a tandem parachute jump in Cornwall.

Falmouth Coastguard was alerted by the airfield at Perranporth where the parachutists should have landed.

The student parachutist was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro by a helicopter from RNAS Culdrose.

His condition is not known, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
