Hazel Galloway's body was discovered on Thursday
A man has appeared before magistrates in Devon accused of killing his partner at their home on Thursday.

Andrew Grundy, who is 36 and an ophthalmic technician, is charged with the murder of Hazel Galloway, who was 33, at their home in Paignton.

There was no application for bail and he was remanded in custody until 2 May.

Police discovered Miss Galloway's body on Thursday afternoon at the Polsham Park property after being called there because of "concern for her welfare".
