Ex-head in court on sex charges
A former primary school head teacher has appeared in court in Devon charged with indecently assaulting girls.

Alfred Thomas Robinson, 87, of Chineway Gardens, Ottery St Mary, is accused of 18 counts of indecent assault involving nine girls.

The assaults are alleged to have taken place at a Devon school between 1971 and 1980.

The case is due before Exeter Crown Court in February. Mr Robinson was bailed by Exeter magistrates.
