Asbo bans vagrant's bad behaviour

A notorious vagrant from Devon has been given an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) for England and Wales.

The order against Glenn Skinner includes a ban on swearing, drinking and urinating and defecating in public.

The 36-year-old, is also barred from a large area of Torquay, where he is known for his street drinking and aggressive behaviour.

The order by Torbay magistrates was made after the vagrant moved to Torquay to avoid an Asbo in Newton Abbot.

Posters with Mr Skinner's photograph are being put up around the seaside resort, notifying the public of the Asbo.

Devon and Cornwall Police said on numerous occasions offers of help from police and local homelessness charities have been rejected by Mr Skinner.
