Lee Stagg was driving a car that caught fire
A man who died in a car crash fire in Devon has been named.

Lee Stagg, 20, from Torrington, was driving a Ford Fiesta which crashed with another car and caught fire on the A386 near Beam House on Monday night.

He died at the scene. His male passenger was airlifted to a hospital in Salisbury with serious burns where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of a Mitsubishi was treated in Plymouth's Derriford Hospital after suffering serious head injuries.

An investigation has been launched into why an ambulance took more than an hour to arrive at the scene of the accident.
