Dangerous dogs reports decrease
The number of dogs reported as being dangerously out of control in Devon and Cornwall has dropped dramatically, according to the police latest figures.

The number of cases investigated by the police fell from 229 in 2005 to 96 in the last year.

Police could not explain why there had been a drop in the number of reports.

However the Dogs Trust said an increasing number of animals it had re-homed had behavioural problems which it attributed to the owners.
