Diversion caused by culvert work
A 50-mile (80km) diversion has been put in place following the closure of one of the main roads through Devon for repair work.

The A377 has been shut at Chulmleigh for five days while work is carried out to a culvert.

The official diversion takes vehicles via Crediton, Tiverton and South Molton, although some drivers are expected to use smaller local roads.

The route is a major link between north Devon and Exeter.
