A former member of staff at a boarding school in Devon has appeared in court charged with sex attacks on pupils.
Paul Couch, of Wyndham Street West, Plymouth, pleaded not guilty at Exeter Crown Court to 20 charges.
The 60-year-old is charged with 18 counts of indecent assault and two serious sexual offences on boys under the age of 13 between 1972 and 1993.
Mr Couch was released on conditional bail to return to Exeter Crown court for trial on 16 July.
The trial is expected to last for 10 days.
The alleged offences took place at Buckfastleigh, Plymouth and Torpoint in east Cornwall.
