Arrest made over unregistered gun

A 61-year-old man from Plymouth has been arrested after police seized an unregistered shotgun.

Officers were called to the St Judes area on Wednesday to reports a bird had been killed and cars damaged with what was thought to be an air weapon.

Officers found an unregistered shotgun and shotgun cartridges at an address in the St Judes area.

The man was arrested and has been released on bail to return to Charles Cross next month.
