Highways Agency closes slip road
A38 crash scene
The "wrong way" accident closed the road for nine hours
A slip road in Devon near the scene of a fatal crash is to be closed by the Highways Agency.

A couple from Ivybridge and a woman from Torpoint died in the two-vehicle accident on Thursday on the A38 at Lyneham between Plymouth and Lee Mill.

It prompted calls from local MP Gary Streeter for improvements on a number of slip roads in the area.

But a Highways spokesman said the road was being closed due to construction work at the new Langage power station.
