Teacher admits making child porn

A school teacher from Plymouth has admitted making and processing indecent images of children on his computer.

Alan Mace, 56, pleaded guilty to five charges, including storing pictures of naked children, at Plymouth Crown Court.

He has been suspended from his position as the head of mathematics at Eggbuckland Community College.

A decision on his future employment will be made by the college's governing body after he is sentenced next year.
