Uni research not to be sniffed at
Plymouth University
Volunteers need to be aged 18 and over
Researchers at a Devon university are handing out free bottles of flower essence to 400 volunteers as part of a project to look at its effectiveness.

Professor of Health Psychology at the University of Plymouth Michael Hyland, has been researching the Bach flower essences for a number of years.

Volunteers will be asked to complete online questionnaires and give feedback using a mobile or landline telephone.

A bottle will go to the first 400 volunteers to register online.

"We have found that flower essences are very useful for a number of people, but we don't know why some people benefit more than others," said Professor Hyland.

"We would also like to establish whether it is differences in the way people take the essence which matters."

Volunteers need to be aged 18 and over and should not have taken flower essences in the past six months.
