Sculpture plan for Drake centre
Inside the Drake Circus shopping centre
Almost 60 retail units have been created at the shopping centre
Plans have been submitted for a 10-metre high sculpture for the entrance to a £200m shopping centre being built in Devon.

The sculpture would stand outside the Drake Circus shopping centre which is due to open in Plymouth in October.

The design features a stainless steel figure standing on its hands. The appearance of the metal would change according to the light and weather.

A planning application for the work has been submitted to the city council.

The structure, which would be lit at night, is planned for the Cornwall Street entrance of the centre.
