Shoppers' preview of Drake centre
M&S Plymouth
The new M&S includes a third sales floor and restaurant
Shoppers are being given an early taster of a 200m centre which is due to open in Devon in the autumn.

Marks and Spencer (M&S), which stands at one end of Plymouth's new Drake Circus centre, is opening its two new sales floors on Wednesday, 23 August.

M&S has been remodelled, a restaurant has been added and it has been opened up to integrate with the centre which will begin trading on 5 October.

The centre is expected to create about 2,000 new jobs.

When the doors open, Plymouth will no longer be the only major British city without a covered shopping centre.
