Double alert for city bomb squad
A man found a hand grenade with the pin still in place as he dug his garden in one of two incidents dealt with by police in Plymouth on Tuesday.

The Mills hand grenade was unearthed in the city's St Judes area and was made safe by bomb disposal experts.

In another incident on Tuesday, the bomb squad was called to Sutton Road industrial estate where a bomb was found in a skip.

The rusty device was about 7in (18cm) long and 3in (7cm) wide.
