Explosion fear during garage fire
Fire at garage
Four fire engines attended the scene
Emergency crews used water jets to cool petrol tanks at a disused petrol station in west Devon amid concerns that they could explode.

Fore Street was closed off while crews from Tavistock in Devon and Launceston in Cornwall tackled the blaze at Lifton, near Tavistock.

The brigades, which sent two appliances each, were alerted to the incident at about 0500 GMT on Saturday.

The Arson Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire.
