About 70 people register with the scheme each month
A Devon car share scheme is celebrating its third birthday.

The scheme puts people travelling to a similar destination in contact with each other, allowing them to share costs and help reduce congestion.

More than 2,500 people are on the Car Share Devon database and about 70 new members are registering each month.

Devon County Council, which works in partnership with Plymouth City Council and Torbay Council to run the scheme, said it also helped the environment.
