Lake bird deaths are investigated
Investigations are under way into the deaths of a number of birds at a lake in south Devon.

The 12 ducks and a coot were found dead at Young's Park in Paignton earlier this week.

Post-mortem examinations are being carried out by scientists from the Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs.

Torbay Council officials said they did not believe bird flu was responsible for the deaths.
