Lap dance club to extends hours
A lap dancing club in Plymouth is to be allowed to operate 12 hours a day.

Teasers on Union Street has been granted permission for the change in hours by Plymouth City Council's licensing sub-committee.

It means the club will now be open from 1600 in the afternoon to 0400 in the morning. The council says no objections to the idea were received.

Club owner Michael Welch said it needs to open earlier to meet the demand for private parties.

He said: "There are stag parties, Christmas parties, business parties that do want to start a little earlier and finish a little earlier rather than be caught up in the rest of the trade of Union Street."
