Priest celebrates mass in Polish
A Polish Catholic priest from south Devon has broken new ground by saying mass in his native language on New Year's Day.

The Polish service took place on Sunday afternoon in Torquay.

It is thought there are about 5,000 Polish speakers living in and around the Torbay area, many of whom attended the service

Father Edward Stachurski, based at the Ilford Park Home in Newton Abbot, hopes it will be the first of many.
