Royal Navy explodes war-time bomb
Controlled explosing on unexploded WWII bomb
The exclusion zone was removed after the controlled explosion
Bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion after the discovery of an unexploded bomb.

The device was spotted off the coast of Cornwall on Tuesday by a Royal Navy minehunter which was carrying out a survey of the sea floor.

A 1,000m (1,093 yard) exclusion zone was set up a mile (1.7km) south west of Cornwall's Penlee Point.

A navy spokesman said shipping was not at risk and the matter was dealt with without incident on Wednesday morning.
