Mother and baby murdered in home
Murder scene house at end of lane
Police were alerted to the house by a concerned member of the public
A teenage mother and her 18-month-old baby have been found murdered in a house in a Cornwall village.

Police found the 19-year-old woman and the girl after being called to the house in the village of St Ervan, near Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Officers were called on Tuesday afternoon after a member of the public became concerned for the occupants.

Police are trying to locate local man Christopher Robert Adams, 26. Officers have warned people not to approach him.

They have refused to identify the victims, or give any details of the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

But Det Ch Insp Andrew Boulting, leading the inquiry, said the discovery of the bodies was "very distressing" for the officers who found them.

Mr Adams is understood to be related to one of the victims.

He is described as slim, of "proportionate build", clean-shaven; with dark, short brown hair.

He may be in possession of a silver Peugeot 306 cabriolet car, police said.
