First snowfalls arrive in county
The first winter snows have hit Devon overnight, causing some disruption especially in the north of the county.

Police are warning drivers that snow is six to eight inches deep in some parts and is making driving conditions extremely hazardous.

The North Devon Link road is closed both ways at the A396 junction.

And there will be no school bus services for South Molton Community College and West Buckland schools.

Gritting lorries were out in force overnight trying to keep the county's A and B roads open.
