Devon to get two air ambulances
Devon is to have a second air ambulance over the summer.

The Bolkow 105 air ambulance will be based at Belle Vue Flying Club, near Great Torrington.

The aircraft, which will cost 250,000 to run through the summer, will make Devon the only county in the UK operating more than one aircraft.

The costs are being met from the Devon Air Ambulance Trust funds left over from running the existing helicopter. It will be launched on 28 April.
