Police in Exeter are continuing their inquiries into a robbery at a jeweller's shop.
The robbers went into the shop in Castle Street on Tuesday afternoon and took a "substantial amount" of jewellery before escaping in a car.
The silver car they drove off in was found dumped in the West Avenue/Thornton Hill area on Wednesday.
Tactical Aid Officers carried out house-to-house inquiries at the scene and where the vehicle was left.
CCTV for the area around the shop is also being checked by the force.
