Emergency crews in north Devon had to remove a trampoline which was blown into electricity cables after high winds and storms on Monday night.
Firefighters from Hatherleigh removed the trampoline from the cables in Meeth after they were made safe by engineers from Western Power Distribution.
Devon County Council's control room said it was dealing with blocked drains and fallen trees around the county.
But the Environment Agency has downgraded several flood alerts.
Drivers were being warned of hazardous conditions on the roads on Tuesday morning.
However, the Environment Agency said that some flood status warnings had been downgraded and river levels were expected to recede.
A flood warning issued for the River Dart from Dartmeet to Totnes was downgraded to a flood watch.
Flood watches issued for Bradiford Water from Muddiford to Bradiford and for the Teign from Clifford Bridge to Newton Abbot were downgraded to all clear.
Liscombe had the highest rainfall overnight at 21mm (0.8ins).
